The Travel Nevada Adventure Center in Carson City will be located on the Nevada State Railroad Museum campus. Designed to complement the museum’s historic architecture, the center will serve as a basecamp for exploring nearby trails, mountain ranges, and cultural sites and is very close to the Lake Tahoe area.
Opening in 2027, this center offers all the resources visitors need to experience a seamless outdoor adventure. Stop in, enjoy the grounds, and talk to the staff to secure gear rentals, book tours from onsite operators, and learn about Nevada ecology and land stewardship.
